why don't people belive in magic? It's sad. It's out there you just have to believe in it. I used to wake up in the mornings and find random jewelry on the end of my bed and when I asked around the house no one said they had put it there and I know I never put it there because I never even had those things that I found randomly on my bed. I wonder if that was me. but if so why can't I remember?

I don't drink and I would go to bed normally. It was a long time ago so don't think I'm crazy! I'm 16!

I think I was probably below the age of 10 at the time. Does anyone believe in magic or is the world purely a place where that sort of belief has vanished? if so I'm sorry to those who have lost that belief and hope you find it soon.

i think you have a spirit who watches out for you and brings you gifts. if you will just pay attention to yourself and think, i think you may find s natural ability. you may be psychically inclined or what we pagans call a natural witch

Because more than half the time the people are ignorant and they are just too stupid. If they realised that magic is real than they would probably practice it every chance they get. But I honestly believe in Magic and it sounds like to me that you possibly do have some potential to be a good Magician/Warlock or Witch. But I do agree with the other girl about this the one that posted before me. That you might even have someone watching over you and bringing gifts. You never know what is out there.

If I believe really hard in the idea that I might get a new car for Christmas, is that belief going to make the possibility any more real?

Magic, spells, supernatural fluff, they're all nice, pretty, attractive ideas. We want to believe in them, yes. Those things are sort of like gods; they give meaning to an otherwise meaningless universe. But unfortunately, believing in something doesn't make it any more or less real than it actually is.

You're just talking to the wrong people. There's a lot of us magic believers out here. But as you have noticed people accuse you of being crazy if you're too public about it.

have you ever seen the movie sixth sense? where the boy's grandmother keeps putting a locket that she liked in his drawer?

perhaps it's something like that. someone or something likes you.

as for magic being real...of course it is. magic is just manipulating the energy that is all around us and in everything. do some research at the library.

don't be afraid. it's a natural occurrence.

bright blessings to you.

hmm...I don't know how to explain your occurrence, but I personally tend to view magic as a transfer of psychic(emotional) energy from one being to another. You could have someone visiting you... like a spirit, but I'm pretty skeptical of that in general so I don't know. Good Luck:-)

If the "Mainstream" religions would just stop being so hateful and phobic about Magick, life, love, and happines would come a lot easier to everyone.

However, there powerful regimes, built of fear of punishments after death, would begin to crumble.
