Do you know if a guy that is married a non-american is elegible to work with the secret service of the Usa?

i have a friend he is married a girl from south America and he is looking to work as a linguistic for the military. do you think this going to be a problem with his security clearance??

Aliens can work in the US military but only on positions dealing with non-sensitive matters.
