TODAY, THE 3RD DAY, I HAVE BEEN TRYING OFF AND ON SINCE NOON AND IT CAN'T GET RID OF IT. IT SHOWS 1 PROBLEM. AND THEN IT TRIES. I CAN'T FIND WHERE IT IS EITHER. FOR AWHILE IT WAS ON INTERNET EXPLORER, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT IT WAS. NOW IT ISN'T SHOWING UP ANYWHERE. HELP THANK YOU AND HAVE A BLESSED DAY!

Try going into Control Panel and Add/Remove programs and see if you can remove it from there.

If not, try going to Microsoft.com and downloading Windows Defender. (Free program for getting rid of spyware/adware.)

First off look in your add/remove program list to uninstall any related components to 'MyWebSearch',that may be there,
for example....
My Web Search Bar
My Web Search
My Way Speedbar
Search Assistant
Fun Web

then run SuperAntiSpyware in safe mode and do a complete system scan

Includes 'homepage hijack protection' that'll stop your homepage being changed without your permission.
