what i mean by cpu tester is wether there is a thing in which you take out your proccessor and test it in some thing and i will tell you if your cpu works o not????

I'm sure Intel and AMD have it for QC. But outside of the factories, the only viable tester is a working motherboard w/ integrated graphics and one stick RAM. A powersupply, keyboard, processor cooler, motherboard or case speaker (for the beeps) and a monitor completes the test set up. You don't need a hard drive, CD drive or FDD. The test set up should beep, display POST and be able to open BIOS menu. No beep or no POST means processor is fried or dead.

There is no such tester yet,but you should have another CPU to test it.That is what they call HOT SWAP.By swapping suspected defective module on a running CPU you can verify if that is the real problem.
