It is power supply instability that will affect PC performance. The power supply does not speed up or slow down the PC.
Once overloaded, a power supply will just shut down. If operated near full load, it tends to run HOT.

No. You can put as many as 10 drives or more and it could even be faster. As long as the PSU meets the total power and amperage required by your components it should be fine. Note however that working your PSU near its limits would significantly reduce it's service life. If you need to get a new PSU, get one with higher efficiency of at least 80%.

Check you Hard Drive for free space.
Uninstall any programs you do not and will not use.
Delete any files you no longer require
Delete the Tempory Internet Files, Cookies, and History from your Browser(s).
Make sure you have a good virus scanner and anti spy/ad ware scanner.
You should have purchased ones, not the free ones.
Make sure their signatures files are up to date.
Run them manually to perform full scans.
Run a full check disk on every Hard drive.
Run defragmentation.

i think the most it will do is crash IF youre compnenets are not getting enough power, i dont think they can slow down. i did have a problem however once where my graphics card wasnt getting the power it needed because i didnt have enough cables from the power supply and the drivers automatically "underclocked" it to prevent damage to it. but i think if your compnenets are not getting enough power usually the computer wont even turn on or it will be unstable and crash.

you will get success with regard to the psu youe psu would be upgraded you basically would desire to locate on ethat will greater healthful and if it became me i might decide for 6570 2 gb its no longer plenty greater then the 1gb so decide for it. and you would be wonderful enjoying the two one in all them video games on med/severe.
