If you are a female electrician and you want to wear acrylic nails I would say consider two things 1 will it be practical and 2 can you afford to have them replaced every time you break or damage them, as far as will you get zapped, no, they don't conduct electricity

If you are a female electrician you need to answer your own question! Can you do your job properly (which is what you must do to satisfy your employer) if you are always going to be worrying about "breaking" a nail? How would you answer?

I don't see a big problem with that. I myself work in an environment that is hands on and I haven't broken a nail yet (3 yrs) So I say: go for it. Just don't have them to long.

Depends on the work they they do. Might cause problems in a static free environment. Long nails might get in the way.

I don't think the nails would last too long if they were doing any rough work. I also think they would be a problem inside work gloves.

if you're working with things with your hands...i would absolutely not reccomend it.

you can get a french-style manicure and they can do the pink and white polish on your regular (non-extended) nails and do a strong (multi-application) top coat

but, it's gonna be hard on upkeep.

no pain, no gain though, right?

g'luck

Sure, they can wear dresses and high heels too... So long as they know what is appropriate for work and keep it separate from their personal lives.
