hybids, when the batteries wear out they have to dispose of them, the cars become worthless and have to be recycled..diesel burns cleaner than gas and is 40% more economical. A diesel VW Jetta will get anywhere from 1000 to 1200km a tank...hello and good morning eco people.

What about biodiesel. I think biodiesel would be a great green alternative, but I rarely hear about it. I only hear a bout hippie conversions.
Is it a viable green alternative?
