If so...why? Were we always that way but it just wasn't recognized or can it be blamed on other factors?

I think it's ALL just a matter of the Media making such actions more public and in your face. I don't think women (or people in general) are any more violent than in the past. We're just seeing it being reported more, these days.

The reporting media is WAY out of control and anything goes, in the name of News, it seems.

They have certainly become most of the worst drivers out there. Aggressive, arrogant attitudes contradicting eye shadow at 70 miles an hour.

From what I've seen, I'd have to say yes.
Women have always had the capacity for violence but, for some reason (or combination of reasons) it seems to have come out more in the last 20 years or so.

Yeah, I think with the violence in today's media it permeates to all of society, including women.

Of course they are, just like minorities. They are that way because the real people in charge let them get away with it in the name of political correctness. I was attacked by a woman and when I restrained her to prevent her from hitting me further I was arrested. I was scratched up and bleeding. The cops got there and asked what happened, she was honest and admitted striking me, they still took me to jail. Why should she keep her temper in check? She knows I wont hit her and she knows she wont get in trouble with the law.

I don't think so but that's just my opinion....

The only violent people I have been around have been men.......I never saw a woman hit anyone else but maybe we just hang out at different places.....
