WHAT do you think of gossip?

I try not to. I don't like gossip. It starts trouble.

If someone tells me they never gossip I tell them they're full of it. We all do in one way or another. Talking about anyone is considered gossip and I can't name a person I've ever known who hasn't talked about someone at one time or another. There is a difference, however, between sharing information about someone and just being plain rude, mean, and deceitful.
I'll have nothing to do with the latter and those type of people are usually quite obvious once you meet them. Talking about human nature is normal, but no one is perfect so if you're going to talk about someone you should be sure it's true and fair. Otherwise, you're another part of the problem. I think the quote above says it best ... we're all interested in one another. Gossip is an ingrained form of communication and information and as long as people have an interest in one another ... gossip will live on .... and on.

gossiping is really bad because most of the time it ends up hurting someones feelings. often times, we get caught up in talking about others and kinda enjoy it. but then somethings always happens to make us feel guilty afterwords. so even though gossiping can be tons of fun, i don't do it. i think there are plenty of other things do talk about besides what Brittany spears is doing and who is going out with the hottest guy in school.

Gossip only with a trusted friend who will not pass it around. If you don't have one, start looking for one now!! I gossip but only with a trusted friend.

No, but people gossip about me & I hate it. People who gossip are bored & need another hobby.

Just kidding but we all like stories about other people, and thats what keeps no talent skanks in the news.
