Someone told me that they love me and that they believe that I love them too but I am sometimes misguided by emotions? Can you explain?

I think that they think you give in to every whim. If you feel like you don't love them for a day you back away instead of realizing that you love them and want to be with them 9 days out of 10. Lasting love is not constant- you have to think "right now i feel trapped by this relationship- but if i leave how will i feel tomorrow/next week/next year without this person?"
relationships take work and compromise- sometimes people think they aren't with "the one" if they have any second thoughts at all or any tough times- if you live that way then you will end up in a string of dead end relationships and you will probably regret some of your breakups.

That you are thinking too much with your heart and not with your head. If we let them, our emotions will cause problems for us. Try thinking more before you take any actions in your life.

Emotional abuse....

Sometimes the first person to say it has a hidden agenda. If they are also saying not to trust your emotions too, I don't know what to tell you but to RUN away quickly....
