I truly believe women do. Men are visual by nature and every pretty woman is a "missed opportunity" to some married men. Not all but definitely some think that way.

Depends on what you measure benefit with - are you talking about quality of life or $$?
Men will usually get a nice QOL boost -- to be completely honest, women are usually the ones who buy the nice sheets and insist on a nice home (not always).
Men, in general, make more money. Again, this is a generalization, so women will benefit that way.
But really, doesn't everybody win when it's a happy marriage?

It depends on what needs are met in the marriage. For men, having a wife to make their home, take care of the children and tend to their needs and desires is hugely significant. If the wife works outside the home, it's another income to help support their lifestyle.
For women, financial security is a good one. Most women prefer to be married when starting or raising a family, it's just easier parenting, I think to have a mother and a father living together.
Certainly there are longer lists of advantages for both men and women. It just depends on what you want and whether or not you get it from your partner.

If both loves each other and marry for the right reason, both benefits.....
Otherwise, man has more benefits......someone to cook and wash for him, someone to keep his house clean, someone to bear his child......
Men thinks they are giving up a lot by marrying a woman as most women stop working to take care of the home and kids. They think it is very tough to support the family financially and be the bread winner.
Believe me, women prefers to work a career and wear nice clothes and be financially independent......rather than sit at home and beg for money and do housework all day long like a maid.....

Men. I once took a communications class that showed overall, men benefited best mentally and physically from marriage and women benefited best from the single life. Go figure.

if you have to ask this shows you have no sense of marriage. Both benefit from having some to be there for them. to know no matter what you have your wife/husband there that is totally down for you. If this is not the case then both will suffer no one will truly benifit. it always feels good to be loving to a person who loves you equally back

Both, in different ways. If you look at it from a divorced standpoint, what do they each lose if the marriage fails? Typically (and I know this is not 100%), he loses family, possibly the home, his partner that is the nurturer and possibly the organizer, and she loses the protective half, the primary breadwinner, the fixer. They both lose a partner to share the good and bad with.

Women benefit the most in marriage....for sure!
At marriage a woman gains a man for her partner - whereas a man gets stuck with a woman!!
No comparison, is there?
