Names are very important. Your child will own it for the rest of its life. So choose carefully! There's no need to be hasty. Give it lots of thought.
Names have meanings. Invest maybe $5 for a baby name book. There you can look up the various spellings of names, their meanings, and their origins.
Be careful to choose a first (and middle, if you give one) name(s) that are not in some sort of conflict with each other. For example, the last letter of the first or middle name does not go well with the first letter of the last name, if they are the same letter. Example: Hans Smith, or Jacob Benson.
It is good to have a unique but traditional name. I like that concept. Hope you pick the perfect name for your child.

I love the name Elana, but not as a middle name. I think you should use Kathryn Hazel. LOVE THAT! If you decide by any chance not to use Katie as a first name, I think Elana Hazel would be a great name. (If you like nicknames you could call her Lani or something.) As for the guy names, I like Adelai a lot, but I think that's kind of a girl-ish name. Maybe you should use it as a middle name. My favorites are Zachary and Jacob. Keep in mind some of those are very common names (like Katie and Jacob.) I hope this helps!

Noah Adlai (why not spell it Adalay?)
Noah Zachary
Andrew Noah
Kathryn Amelia (I prefer the nickname Kathy though)
Kathryn Elana (If you are going to call her Kaite why not just name her that? I know plenty of people named Katie)
Kathryn Sophia

They're all very nice names! I like Gabriel, Jacob, Noah, or Zachary for boys. For middle names, they're all nice too, but I don't think any go well for a name following Katherine or Kathryn. Just throwing this out...what about Katherine Grace? Anyhow, congratulations and best of luck choosing a name and raising your family! Congrats!

Well, my brothers name is Jacob so I obviously like it the best! But, I absolutely LOVE Andrew!! As for the girls names, I do like Kathryn and call her Katie. I just have too many friends named that or else I would name mine that too!! I also like Amelia. Come check out my question and help me pick my girls name. At least you'll get some more points!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I like most of the boys names except Adlai/Adelai. And Xander isn't a full name, it's a nickname for Alexander. I like all of your girls names, though.
I think you should go with Alexander Gabriel or Katherine Sophia.

Zachary is a nice one. Xander looks interesting, but how exactly would it be pronounced?
