Towards improved surveilance and defence what else? If you don't protect the nation it won't matter if you have lower taxes, better health care, because you will be the nation that is occupied! Get real! If you were prehistoric man would you want a great story teller or a strong capable leader able to defend? First things first! Big dogs are the survivors once off the protection of the "porch".

democrats are probabily taking office soon which means the tax will be equalized and dropped as we withdraw if they can convince senate and new taxes will probabily be added to fix our country and repair the damages
but on a brighter side... there have recently been a decrease in military deaths in iraq which could be pointing toward a change in what is going on there
