I don't know your circumstances, but you can use the power source, RAM, Graphics Card, Sound card, hard drive, and cables inside. You will have to check the RAM for compatibility.

Be more specific in your questions.

Good news/bad news.

The graphics card is transferable if the new computer has a proper slot and the new O/S has drivers for it.

RAM is probably not reusable, check carefully, RAM comes in many different flavors which look alike. If they match exactly, try it.

The hard drive is probably transferable, but when the old O/S wakes up in a new motherboard, it may or may not live through it. Most likely if you use the old drive in the new computer it will be reformatted or as a second drive.

If you are going to gut the old machine power supplies can be reused, although they are often underpowered for newer machines.

Modems, network cards, sound cards are all transferable if you can get drivers.

You can probably use the graphics card. The ram is somewhat doubtful. Check the speed 2700, 3200 etc. Most don't clock down and aren't compatible. The hard drive can be used as a secondary drive (in most cases, unless you have an ancient computer, pre pentium 3)
