I love them. I want to get 3 for my big 30th birthday. It's coming up real soon. lol I think that if the tatt is tasteful then it is a really cool thing to have. And they are sexy as hell on the right guy. ;)

I got one at age 27 ...
is it posssible that what people "see" is not the "liking of tatts" but instead the "identity-statement"
in the world of "symbol-referent", things sometiems take on different forms of "meaning" when viewed from two (or more) separated viewopint locations
still figuring out what image to use as second piece of body-art
that will get me off the blood-donor call-list for a year or two

I don't assume that at all! I have a dear friend older than me that just got her 4th tatt. I just think that the choices of what to permanently ink into your skin may be better made when a bit more mature.

Because a lot of people don't realize that it's stuck on you forever. I have 2 of them. Oh I had to have them! Big mistake! They're just there now & I'm disgusted by them.

I will assume that you mean tattoos. I dont have any myself, but I dont see anything wrong with them. Its when people go very far with tattoos or anything else that others think its weird.
