I'm doing a research paper in English on the vampire community and I would really appreciate it if anyone could give me a few decent sites. They need to be "credible," as in: they have the author's name and credentials, a list of sources, statement of mission...that type of thing.
I would really, really appreciate any help you could give. The AVA's site is all I have right now, and -sigh- I can't use House Kheperu's. -sigh- Or Don Henrie’s...or DrinkDeeplyandDream...

Also, I'm NOT looking for self-defense texts. I've found enough of those, and I already know what I need to know. they don't protray the community in the way I would like to portray it.

As far as websites go, I'm not sure on any that would be very well "backed up", so to speak. It's just hard to put "vampires", even "energy vampires" in the same sentence as something that is viewed as "credible" since credibility implies, to a degree, provable research - something that tends not to meet the parameters of psychic or energy vampires (aka it's very hard to "prove" a person is or is not an energy vampire).
All that said, I certainly don't want to discourage your work. You might consider (assuming your professor allows it) attempting to get interviews with psychic/energy vampires. I would recommend posting requests for interviews in forums or groups like ShadowLore or Sanguinarius. You could also use those type of groups/forums to request other resources. Often people in the community provide better advice than those who just want to tell you "vampires don't exist".
Last but not least, I do remembered a research study being conducted on vampires. It's called the "Vampirism & Energy Work Research Study © 2006 - 2007". While their work is currently ongoing (or so I believe), it might be worth your time to check it out. Even better, you might be able to email those conducting your research, explain to them what you are looking for, and ask them if they have any resources they can recommend.
