There were always at least two houses on my block that sold candies, sodas, cotton candy, and shaved ice. If so what was your fave thing to get?

They do still have em, the one down the street from me just expanded to a big green truck to peddle his sweet candy tho.

No candy house, but there was a penny candy store called Pidgies run by this really old chubby lady that would only let 2 of us in at a time. Rows and rows of glass containers with gum balls, hard candies, licorice, rock candy and just about anything you could think of and you got a little paper bag to fill. It was on my way to church and more than once I spent my quarter that was for the offering on candy!

Yes! My friend and me used to ride our bikes down to it and get candy cigarettes ! good times <3

nope, im not so lucky :( i would get cotton candy and shaved ice tho :)
