i've got her on me twice. back of my neck and right forearm. she's got my damn portrait on her! hah! i'll never regret it because even if *god forbid* something happened to us, she gave me the most beautiful daughter in the world. no matter what happens, i'm still angie's mom too, and candy has acknowledged that. she would never keep her from me.

No! no matter what I would never a lover's name tattooed on my body! It is statistically proved that, that is the single worst thing to do when you get a tattoo. It seems as though when you do get the name tattooed on you, all of the sudden everything is jinxed, and something will go wrong and you will be the sucker stuck with the life long regret. Get something tattooed on you that you like or are passionate about, why does it have to be a lovers name. Are they willing to get your name tattooed on their body? What ever you do, don't get a tattoo on your lower back, Doctors are now calling them "Tramp Stamps" you don't want to be labeled as a tramp either, do you? Good luck on all of your endeavors, I just hope that you really think things out without being intoxicated!!!

Maybe your kid's names or your parent's but not a significant other. Well unless you've been with them for like 20+years than maybe it's something to think about. And if you do decide to do it maybe on your arm or around your hip area...?
I mean if celebrities have taught us anything than it's not to get a tattoo of a loved one and if you do than make sure your next boyfriend/girlfriend have the same name as the ex :-)

Nope, it is not a good idea to get a name permanently engraved in your body, other than a relative. If you get your sig others name , what happens when you break up? You will have to get it removed ( no man or woman wants to see your x's name on your body when making love, it would be a turn off) Unless you find another sig other with the same name!

The pair reportedly met in an cyber web chat room and now are engaged." I in basic terms...what the ......i do no longer know what to declare different than take exhilaration on your tattoo while your 70 it particularly is in basic terms stupid...

I'm going to say yes.. with a few caveats.
1) Above the waist.
2) Signifigant Other's name would need to be something like.. Keira Knightley, or Jessica Alba, or Heide Klum...

Nope, never!!!! I wouldn't personally get a tat anyways, but if that's not enough. Even though you may be mad in love with this person, with the statistics as they are with relationships, unfortunately its almost a fad to break-up, seperate and/or ge t a divorce, you will regret it for sure. If that's not enough, when you get older, people will have to stretch your skin out to read it.... BLAH....

Never. I've been with mine for 5 years.
But I don't see anything wrong with getting a tattoo about them. For example, song lyrics, or a symbol for them. This way, when/if you break up you don't have to worry so much about covering it up or removal.

I wouldn't get any ones name tattooed on my person beyond my children. Suppose you break up with that person? It could happen. BTW, I have two tattoos and of course neither of them are of my significant others name.
