I also like The Operetta a lot, for the whole piece.
But my favorite scene is still Vitameatavegimin [sp?]. The set-up, the writing, and the acting all combine to make pure comedy -- it's perfect and priceless.
You know, throughout all her life after "I Love Lucy," whenever an interviewer asked about the success of the show, Lucille Ball always specified that the success was due to the writers. Truly a professional, and a great lady.

I love the episode where Lucy, Ethyl and Fred went to the Brown Derby and ended up sitting next to WIlliam Holden. I rolled during the spaghetti eating part, then when Ricky brought him to meet Lucy and she put on the clay nose! That had tears rolling I laughed so hard. I think the entire episode just brought out all of her hysterical acting abilities. Lucy will always be my favorite comedienne actress-she was in a league all her own.

Oh man...tough one!!! Definitely "Vitameatavegamin" and "Job Switching" (the candy factory one) of course, they are the classic favorites... but some of my other favorites: the one where Lucy thinks Ricky is trying to murder her, and "Be a Pal"- when she tries all this stuff because she thinks Ricky lost interest in her, the one where she gets lessons from a burlesque comic...and those are only from season 1! I love this show :D

i liked 2 episodes the most.
when lucy was squissing grapes in the barrell to make wine.
and when she did something to irrate ricki and ricki turned her over his knee and spanked her.
i think she got at least 3 maybe 4 other spankings in the lucy programs.

Mine is the wine making in the big barrel in Italy. I'm laughing right now thinking about it. I Love Lucy, is so hysterical!

I thought the funniest was the one where she met William Holden in disguise and ended up setting her fake nose on fire which she doused in her drink. Supposedly that wasn't planned which is hard to believe!

There is one episode I believe where Lucy and Ricky get handcuffed together and it's hilarious when they try to dress for bed :)

Vitameatavegemin. Its so funny. But I also like the episode when there packeging chocolates. That's a classic.

I love the vegavitavitamin episode. My niece and I used to act out the part and we had SO much fun :~D
