Depends on why they disliked that person. I am somewhat of a man of reason. If it was because they knew the girl was like a drug addict or uses guys, then yeah I guess I would. Also if they were controlling and rude. If it was just because of race, religion or something like that, no, I would date them anyway.

If your family and friends truly cared about you, who you date should not matter to them. That is, if you two really were happy together.
Unless, the person were a known criminal or would physically hurt you. After all, F&F are only watching out for your well being!

I have when I was 18 - and never will I do that again. Bad boys are fun but it is always short lived. They are not worth your energy or repuation.
