Allies: I didn't ask about Carter or Clinton; I asked about Bush. Why not answer my question? Can't defend him?

G-man: race war? I wasn't aware we were fighting a war against a race. Care to enlighten us?

American Patriot: Actually, the libs "peeled away" when Bush forgot what the mission was and decided that avenging Daddy was more important than retaliating and finding those responsible for 9/11. NOT ONE TRIAL HAS HAPPENED AS A RESULT OF 9/11. NOT ONE. But Saddam was tried and hanged, wasn't he?

Ellen. Sweetheart. Neither my question nor the one you posted constitutes a "double negative." Please go back to third grade English and raise your hand and ask what a double negative is. Also, I'm not sure what "quility" means.

Judging by these boards, yes.

Yes... but at a price. His own approval numbers are at a historical low that rivals Nixon's. His policy advisors and campaigners have purposely devised a succesful strategy of only pleasing their base, demonizing their opponents and have now alienated the independents... people have called this genius but the success was short lived and has done a lot of damage. It is genius in its boldness but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to lie and make up lies about the people who oppose your policies (both Republican and Democrat). The difference between them and their opponents is that their opposition was too above to imitate their tactics.

It was a success for a short time... but the price is the trust of the American people, the world's view of us and what we are truly capable of, and the possibility of other candidates (of all parties) to imitate their tactics.

Bush's legacy will permanently tarnished... that is not a huge success and has maybe damaged the GOP for a very long time. Bush was always a selfish man and I am not surprised that his elections will cost the GOP more than anyone. He just only cares about himself.

I think Bush is actually surprised by the fallout that his policies and politics have caused. I think he thought the American people would fall into line. I especially think he got cocky when they won back the Congress after 50 years. But as you can see it is all imploding and temporary. They are getting ready for a huge fall from grace and power.

Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton didn't do any better.

No. I'm making a point, young one. This country has been divided ever since the turn of the millenium.

But that's also the greatness of America. We as citizens can pick and choose any political party belief we want and support it.

There is now law that prohibits that.

This is another troll question, because any reasonable person would not ask a double negative question.
It is like being asked "Do you feel quility about cheating on your spouse?"

We were united after 9/11. Then the libs peeled away when it was time for elections in '04. You know, they put politics and power over everything.

I dont know where you have been, but this division was created by the crybaby liberals when their golden boy Gore lost the election. It got worse when Kerry lost. Whos "campaign" is this?

The Democrats want to divide us. Look at their class warfare. Rich vs. poor, black vs. white, old vs. young. Everything the Democrats do is based on dividing us.

It already was divided. Ever heard of the race war. It isn't over, nor has it even truly started yet. It has simmered and is ready to boil over. Focus on that.
