Technically speaking, the Clash never released a CD. But that'd just make me one of those super-annoying netnerds, wouldn't it?

London Calling has the best overall cataloque of different sounds, I'd consider that to be the best overall. If you could distill Sandinista into 1 cd, that'd be pretty awesome as well.

London Calling. It's not like Pink Floyd albums where Dark Side of the Moon or The Wall is regarded as the best album even though most fans think differently. Critics and fans alike know that was the best album.

I'd say London Calling - the title track alone makes it a classic.

Give 'em Enough Rope is great, too.
