Is it really so hard to accept that he was far more popular, even after his impeachment, than George W. Bush ever was?

Is that why cons just can't let him go?

Actually, I think it's sad when an impeached President is considered more noble, intelligent, articulate and loyal to his country than the current sitting President. But maybe that's just me.

Meanwhile, Clinton managed to unite the country. Bush has made a total freaking mess of things.

G-man: You're right. Clinton was not nearly as successful at killing bin Laden as Bush has been. What a stupid thing to say. Also, it's "get used to," not "get use to."

Why does anyone even care about Bill Clinton now? Because if (GOD FORBID) his wife becomes President, he will be the "FIRST LADDIE". So now you are trying to tell us Slick Willie's popularity is because he was impeached? Gee, I always wondered about that. I though he was popular with the younger set because he was a druggie, dodged the draft, lied, and went after every skirt he saw. He disgraced the OFFICE of the President like no other before him, even Richard Nixon and Andrew Johnson, the only two others ever to have Articles of Impeachment voted against them. Do you know ANYTHING about the impeachment process? A President can ONLY be impeached for "HIGH CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS", whatever that means. The House of Representatives sits like a Grand Jury and decides if any charges should be brought, and if yes, these are the Articles of Impeachment. Then a TRIAL is held, where all the US Senators are jurors, and it takes a two-thirds majority to "convict". The ONLY penalty for being convicted is REMOVAL from office. Too bad they did not succeed, but perhaps it would have been even worse if they did--Al Gore would have become President and he would have been a sitting President running for election in 2000.

American Patriot - he was acquitted by a majority Republican senate. Why do you always omit that bit?

Andy G - with every partisan republican prosecutor and half the congress spending his entire last term trying to find something to charge him with and no being able to make anything stick - if a single word of what you say had any substance I would still rather have the Clintons running the show than the keystone cops who couldn't catch them.

True, but his wife is about to become a president. That is why, and they might have another 8 years in power.

It's not hard at all to accept the popularity, he's a far better speaker, comes off better. That is why we are talking about him. He's on tv talking about current affairs, and he's always around.

Because that is all they have to try and distract you from the real issues.Like why did Bush ignore national security and terrorism until 9/11!Especially since we had the 20th hijacker in FBI custody for weeks before 9/11! Trying to find an excuse for hitting Iran maybe?Stuff like that!

Because the media keeps him on the air almost daily. You would think he was still the president. I think Obama will knock him and Hillary off their pedestals.

Oh right, because we know how well Clinton did and how he tried to kill Bin Laden. LOL

You better get use to hearing a lot about Bill for as long as Hilliary is running or wins.
