He was white. So at least the republicans can't stereotype! Other than that I think 'ol Willie mostly did stuff for the people, regardless of color. If you can name one specific thing he did for whites you are doing something. I think he was a good president. In my lifetime I've only seen two good ones. Ronald Reagan, and Bill Clinton. For different reasons.

He brought black issues to the national stage. He said to black people I understand your plight.

Presidents don't pass laws. Congress passes laws.

He passed the welfare reform bill. It reformed welfare so that the government wasn't just giving handouts to random people and welfare queens and kings. He tried in part at least to raise black people up, like the Republicans are trying to still do now.
