how would you know what hemisphere a certain place is located in based on its absolute location?

the absolute value also says "n" or "s" and "e" or "w"

like 45°n 123°w

n is North, s is South, e is East, w is West

West longitude means western hemisphere and east longi
tude means eastern hemisphere
