I got a Menu Planning Assignment to do and my professor asked us to develop a three fold menu card for the menu. What does thee fold mean actually? I juz would like to make sure.

It actually has two folds, although it is called three fold for some reason. Think of an 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of paper in landscape format (with the long sides on the top and bottom), then bring the left side and the right side toward the middle until you have all the edges even. The left side should be on top. There is your three fold format. The top should have some information about the restaurant or event. When you open it up, all three sections can be used for menu items. The part that started out being the right side of the paper will be part of the back when the card is open all the way, and it will be the second part you see after opening the front part.

"threefold" means three times. He wants you to create a menu that opens with three folds in it. So it'll look like an N

In this case, I assume he means with three folds.

Though threefold means three times.
