It's the planet Venus. Mars is smaller (but still fairly bright) and reddish, and it rises just before midnight.

That is the planet Venus which right now is on the side of the sun to rise just a couple of hours before the sun. It is thus called the morning star. At magnitude -4.7, it is extremely bright and easy to spot even as the sun begins to rise. Mars rises much earlier and at magnitude 0 is much dimmer and is washed out by the light of the rising sun along with the stars.

Venus, but it is more commonly referred to as the morning star rather than the evening star and quite often can even be seen in the day time. Depending on your location and the time of year, it can be seen just about sunset and will be quite bright as it gets darker and Venus sets in the west. Later in the year it goes back to being the morning star and will be up before the sun gets up.and then gradually it is blinded by the sun, but as I stated before, depending on weather conditions it quite often can be seen in day time due to it's extreme brightness.

Amaze your friends! Impress women (well, not a lot).
If you are outside at night and you see something bright in the sky (and its NOT a plane!):
1) if its bright and white, it's venus (usually close to the horizon, NEVER straight up
2) if it's bright and creamy white, its Jupiter (damn thing can be anywhere, but sticks close to a line across the night sky called the Ecliptic)
3) if its bright and reddish orange, its Mars. (like Jupiter, it wanders along the Ecliptic)
Follow these rules and you will never be wrong!
(okay, you gotta watch out for planes)

That i want to fly with them, or pizza hut, because of fact i found a constalation, like a roof and named it that and that i think of that they are like fireflies, and that they only pop out whilst the undesirable clouds are not killing them, and whilst the doo, hi save the moon organization
