Giuliani is NOT a conservative. He's in the Republican party out of nothing more than convenience. I would rather see the liberal Democrats win if it meant getting the Republican party back to its principles that it continually spits on after they get elected by running on a platform of less spending and smaller government. I'm voting for Ron Paul, he's the only real conservative in the race, even though his ideas of following the Constitution are so out there in this day and age of government freebies, invasion of privacy, and loss of individual liberties that a lot of people write him off as a nut. To me, the candidate that makes the most sense is Ron Paul.

America needs someone more like Mike Huckabee who is willing to stand on principle.
Personally, I vote for someone who I believe will lead America toward what I feel America SHOULD BECOME not someone who represents what America IS.
Look around. If a President represents what we ARE, how do we change and progress as a society? We would be stuck right where we ARE.
Representing what IS takes a follower, NOT a leader.

Most moderate Republicans stood by silently and watched the Christian right hijack their once proud party. Now they're watching those one issue zealots kill it.
If Rudy had a spine he'd bid them farewell and announce that he'd win the nomination and the presidency without the fanatics. Thankfully that won't happen and the Dems will win the presidency in a landslide.

Trash, Giuliani supported gay rights, is pro choice, so he definitely not a neo con. He is more like an old time Republican who would be rolling in his grave if he knew what was happening with the GOP in recent years.
Rudy will be the sacrificial lamb if he is the GOP candidate.

Yes they may be willing to step up and show just how much the republican party needs them. I personally hoep they do it and don't just use this threat as a scare tactic to stop the Giulani nomination.
We shall see.

Exactly. They would lose the election of Guiliani is nominated because he is not a conservative. He would make a good vice presidential candidate for the Democrats.

Mike Huckabee has said that it's better to have honor than to win elections. I guess some Republicans figure they need to get their house in order.
