I hope so!!! I'd hate to see Rangers fans wait another 44 years for them to win the Cup again!!! They have a good team this year, so with some luck, they have a good chance to win the Cup! They definitely would have given the Ducks a better challenge then the Senators did in last season's finals!!!

No. In fact, they may miss the playoffs. No Rangers team this loaded with talent has ever been able to do anything meaningful without a guy named Messier to kick their butts when they get out of line.
Last time I checked, Mess isn't there.

They have the talent. For the first time in a long time they actually have a deep team. HOWEVER, I do not see them making the finals. I can see them going deep into the playoffs, just not all the way.

I don't see a power switch to the eastern conference this year, another western team will take the cup.

I don't know if i think they will win it, but i do know that they have a pretty good shot.
They have a pretty good all round team, soo i think they could do it if they really wanted to.

Nope, i say they lose in the second round, or conference finals.

Even with good pickups in the offseason, they'll choke in the playoffs like they always do.

No, I don't. Defense wins championships, and that is their Achilles' heal. They'll make a run at it, though.

with the addition of drury and gomez I have them going to the finals in my preseason guesses but i don't think that they will win it.
