Nothing. Some times babies just cry. They dont even need a reason, some times they are just inconsolable. You have done all you know to do, it sounds like she very well may be overwhelmed by the state of her body and feelings and just needs to be allowed to cry herself to sleep. Babies when tired and sick will often do this.

Just hold her, or keep her near you, and let her cry it out.

You can try to distract her, take her outside and let her see the street lights, or car lights, or listen to the outside noises. Or turn on some nice soothing music. Or dance with her.

But if all else fails, let her cry until she sleeps. Babies just do this some times.

if she has a cold she may not be able to breathe well and it is probably scaring her. You can try sucking her nose out and see if that helps. You can also run hot water in the shower and sink and close the bathroom door sit in there for about 10 to 15 minutes and see if that will help her breathe. She could be colicy. Try giving her some Mylecon drops and putting pressure on her tummy, hold her with her stomachon the palm of your hand. This helped my kids.
I truly wish you the best of luck. If she doesn't stop crying in about an hour or so call the doctor. I know that doesn't help much, but hopefully it will help you out some.
Good Luck!

Hang in there mom. Is she normally a good baby? I would be concerned she may have an ear-infection, I would see if the motron kicks in and I would make a doctors appoinment first thing in the morning. If the crying is too much i might even take her to the er tonight.

Have you tried giving her some tylenol or teething tablets to help with the teething? My son, who is 3 months old was up crying for 4 hours. He is suffering from the croup right now, so I am right there with you. Good luck!!

How old is she? Let the motrin kick in she might have a fever. If teething give her a teething ring to chew on and rub her gums with Numz-It.

You might try warming a towel in the dryer and wrapping her in it, while you gently rock her. I would keep giving her the motrin, but if she isn't better soon, take her to the doc. Who knows? She may have some other pain.

Sometimes they get an earache with a cold and that really hurts. Try holding your hand over one ear at at time and see if that helps. I remember having to sleep next to my son several times with his ear on my hand. It was the only way he could sleep. You could probably use a hot water bottle if you have one.

Put her in the car and go for a drive until she falls asleep. Then you should be able to get her in the house and into bed with no problem. That is what I used to do and it works wonders,

Have you tried to give your baby some panadol?

baby panadol is in stores and you can follow the back for measurements.

Or you could break a normal panadol tablet into a quarter, powder it between 2 sppon, and mix it with some honey for it to go down well.

Your child should get a little less irritated after a bit.
