i thought you were my everything
the one who could make it all go away
the guy that would always brighten my day
and that you would stay by my side
you were my sunshine
a piece of heaven
the person bringing joy into my life
but you had fooled me into a false love
it was an unfulfillable dream
a phony prank on my emotions
how did i ever see anything in you
why did i choose you as 'my guy'
i had a freind that really cared
but let him slip away
though he was the one of true
that kept my sky carolina blue
i cant believe
i was so dramatically deceived
but its clear i was wrong
and maybe next time this ordeal will help me be right
sometime soon i will write a song
a song of love
unlike this poem
of a niave heart
*to who reads this, it has a moral. The moral is that love may be in your veiw,though you may focus on the wrong person. Some freinds can care more then who (you) might think is your true love.I found that out the hard way,so maybe you wont*:)
