True. never been suspended. Could have been in 6th grade. Went back to school the day after mom's funeral and some smart but cheerleader decided to go around saying I killed my mother. She said one time too many and I cleaned her clock. I was young and in mourning-I still today think I should have been suspended for nor handling the situation the right way. I was not because she started it. The teachers said she had it coming. I don't know about that one. She was just being a kid. She didn't understand my loss and was trying to be funny.

I wish I could say it was false, but I'd be lying!

I went to a private Christian school in the 70's - VERY strict. I lived in a dorm there, in a building where the girls lived on the 2nd & 3rd floors, school dining room, kitchen and school offices on the main floor, and on the ground floor was our snack shack, rec room, music area on one end of the building, and on the other end was the laundromat, and in the same room were the freezers for the kitchen. One of my friends and I went to do our laundry one afternoon, and while waiting got nosy about what was in the freezers. We found a half full half-gallon of fudge ripple ice cream, and decided no one would miss it, so we found a couple spoons and polished it off. I had the sense to keep my mouth shut about our little escapade, but my friend told someone else, who obviously thought we'd committed a mortal sin, and told our dorm mother. The very next morning, both of us got hauled into the headmaster's office. I was expelled for the rest of that week, and my friend was kicked off cheering for the remainder of the year. I thought then, and still think, that the punishment far outweighed the crime. The headmaster was a bit of an egomaniac anyway, and enjoyed his position of power a little too much. Needless to say, he was not a well-liked or respected person on campus.

False: I got suspended for 4 days for smoking. That was in about 1958 or 1959. I quit smoking years later and I am glad I did.
