I recently downloaded songs from my iTunes to a mp3. Some of the songs on my mp3 that were downloaded are marked MPEG4 and it is not playing from the mp3. How do I change MPEG4 to mp3 then? Thanks.

since you mean protected m4p's (since it is downloaded from itunes), downloaded programs will do you no good. The only way is to put them on a playlist in itunes, burn them to CD, and re-import them onto your computer. iTunes left that option open to its customers as a sort of loophole. CD-RWs are good for this kind of stuff. When importing, make sure that itunes is set on mp3 encoder, which can be accessed by going edit>preferences>advanced>importing and then change it.

MP3 ia audio format, you mau use a converter software to help you convert MPEG4 to MP3.

I recommend you to try Daniusoft Video to Audio Converter which I used good now. It could help you convert audio from any video to MP3, AAC, WMA, M4A with only three steps. Also it let you set the movie effects, crop/ trim video.

You can free download it here to have a try:
