So, I will ask the way she asked me, and I am quoting this, mind you. "Do tampons get old? Jolene takes birth control pills, so she doesn't have a period. And I don't think I will be starting anytime soon, and I counted six boxes of tampons under the sink. Do they expire if you don't use them??"
She won't be using them because she is a preggo.

they shouldnt expire.. there just cotton.. as long as there sealed.. seems like they would be fine to me

Huh. it's not that stupid of a question, bc i thought tampons don't expire, but my friend lent me an old package at leat 3 yrs and it was different.

No they do not expire because they are made out of cotton. cotton balls do not expire. But maybe if you have those scented tampons the scent might go away but they do not expire

yes they do, and where the expiration date is at, I do not know because I don't use them. i use pads.

i pretty sure they dont expire.Check the box to make sure!
