It would just be the point (0,0).

x = 0 is the only solution.

7x= -2x

7x + 2x = 0

9x = 0

x = 0

On a number line: graph x = 0

On x-y plane: A vertical line at x = 0 (the y-axis)

well first you need to figure out x

add 2x on both sides

9x = 0

divide by 9

x = 0

that will now be a vertical line passing through (0,0)

hope that helps=]

I assume you mean
7y = -2x
if so
y=-2/7x
So put a point at the origin. Then go down 2 and over 7 (right) and put a second point. Then draw a line through.

A graph has x and y axis but your equation has only x.. Your equation is not correct. Check your equation.

7x = -2x
7x/-2x = 0
x = 0

So, it's the y-axis
