I don't mean that your local library won't carry it for some reason, or your local book store won't sell it to you. I mean what book, if any, should be forbidden from being ever printed again and possession of it whould be punishable by fine and/or incarceration.

Pardon me while I get my soapbox out. (sets up box and stands on top) . I don't believe in censure of the written word. I believe that every story, book, or fable has something to offer us. Granted some may be "un-pc" or "bad" to our generation, but who knows what future generations will like and need? Who are you to censure what a free mind can think? If someone doesn't want to read a book, that's okay. They shouldn't be forced to. But just to say that we're not going to carry it because one person or a group of people think it's bad is unjust. It's not the books that are dangerous, it's the people who read them and how they interpret the words and actions of others. And then in return take actions for themselves.

Between the covers of a book I can find almost any nook and there I can safely be, anything I want to be. ~ Me.

No books should be banned. They get people to think, and it's a healthy way to take up time (better than TV and video games). I know people have things against books like Harry Potter for witchcraft or something like that but 1)most books don't promote witchcraft, etc in any way, unless directly devoted to that subject 2) Even those books shouldn't be banned, because there are actually people (who havent read HP or anything of the like) who study those subjects.

Some books don't belong in the hands of children but most should not be banned.

no books should. any book good or bad gives you insight and opens your mind to new ideas but its all within someone to use those ideas for either good or bad but I can't honestly think of any book that should be banned good question though

None. To ban a book is to prove it right.
