Yes, I am old fashioned and find hard to be forward with men. Now a days I am told is perfectly OK to do so, but still I don't have the b*lls to do it.

Yes, and so painfully indeed! When I first came to Wisconsin my brother, the oldest one - introduced me to his then, best friend. We immediately liked each other but hid it from one another, since my brother is a bit of a hound dog when it comes to protecting me. But from the smiles we'd give each other and our easily to blushing faces we both knew what was affecting our hearts. My brother, easily detecting this, became almost a prison guard, not allowing anything to go unseen by his eyes. Instead, he tagged along with us everywhere John, my romantic interest and I would go. Well after a while this kind of surveillance overtaxed our interest for one another, that in time, we plainly disconnected. Period!
Neither he, John, nor I were ever able to speak to one another of our mutual attraction. It simply fizzled away!!!
Oh well . . .

No. I think I've ALWAYS fessed up. I figure that you MUST take the chance....b/c they may be too afraid to tell you... put yourself out there b/c the only thing you have to lose is the opportunity and chance that they may like you back!!!
Oh...and I've been rejected too!!! lol... Doesn't always work in your favor but the rejection wasn't such a big deal.... makes you realize the liking was kind of like a surface crush anyway!

I have never refrained from telling someone I liked that I like them. I have however, refrained from telling them that I more than liked them in order to keep the relationship.

Yes, and it was so foolish of me not to have told them. They could have liked me back and we could have lived happily ever after!

I am sure I have, but; that is what regret is all about. A person with no regrets has a very boring life.
