Hi DD, as I said earlier here today, I quit smoking 2 years ago.
My very favorite was that first cup of coffee and a cig. When I quit smoking, I quit drinking coffee for six mo's to make the transition easier. It helped me a lot. I also didn't go out to clubs for about the same amount of time because as you said, a drink tastes so good with a cig. If I had only waited, lol because people aren't allowed to smoke in clubs, bars or restaurants here anymore.

Coffee made me jittery, a cigerette calmed me down. Drinking alcohol also went with a cigerette. It was an acceptable social addiction.

Well of the morning it is few cups of coffee or Cappuccino with my cigarette.
Then at work, it is chocolate milk and my cigarette on each of my 2 breaks and lunch break.
Then in the afternoon while at home it is Pepsi and my cigarette.
But on my days off from work...the mornings all stay the same.
The rest of the day is Pepsi and cigarette. Once in a blue moon I will drink tea and have my cigarette.
I rarely drink alcohol and I don't go to bars either. I haven't been to a "party" in I don't know how long.

Cigs an coffee, DP, or tea. When out at a bar, beer or margarita. Still do. Know I need to quit. I quit for 7 yrs, and when going through a divorce and my boys were going to their Dads for the weekend I thought just one wouldn't hurt me(with a beer). WRONG/STUPID!!!!!!!

Coffee. Especially first thing in the morning. My best friend in college only smoked if she was drinking beer.
