My friend always talks about her fablulous life and her other fabulous bff. I am sick and tired of hearing about her. Can't she talk about anything but herself??? Should I tell her in a nice way, igonore her e-mails, or ignore her?

Either you're jealous, or just tired of your friend being extremely shallow all the time. Presumably you cherish your friendship with the girl, as she's your best friend. You shouldn't ignore her, you NEED to discuss your concerns; isn't THAT what friendship is based on? Trust and HONESTY for starters? Perhaps she doesn't realize that you DON'T want to listen to her constant ramblings of her life, and other friends. That's another part of being a good friend though. Being there to listen; however, if it's monopolizing the conversation, politely TELL (not ask) her you'd really rather talk about something else now! Then again, does she LISTEN to YOU when you need someone to talk to, or vent to? Gotta have that equal give-take from both parties in ANY relationship as well as an OPEN line of communication. Otherwise you will always harbor feelings of resent towards her. Best of luck, hope things work out with whatever you decide to do!

What she is doing is "normal" to an extent. When something good happens in YOUR life, don't you want to share it with your loved ones? Who doesn't? If everything is ALWAYS about her; her life; her friends, and nothing more, then that IS a problem for both of you.

Yeah, why not tell her in a nice way? What do you have to loose? If she's a good friend, she'll listen and make some adjustments. If not, it's adios muchacha time!

yeah. dont tell her that stuff becuase it sounds like she just wants you to do that because it gives her power. Just ignore her, not completely but enough so she relizes your whole life doesnt revolve around her. also u should talk about you r "great" life too.

Tell her in a nice way through e-mail, maybe.
She'll consider it.
Good luck.

its human nature for people to want to talk about themselves, except it can be annoying for those of us who have to listen. i would break it to her nicely, that you wish she sometimes talked about other things than how great her life is and her bf is. joke with her that your jealous and cant stand her talking about it and would appreciate if you could talk about other things, even if you really are jealous..

good luck, and hope you can make her stop!!

Suggest to her she needs to get out more because all she knows is herself. Expand your mind and get out more and you'll find more to talk about. That should flip her switch.

You should spread rumors about her. Then when she comes crying to you, tell her you have to go, but will talk to her later and then never call her back. Then try to get between her and her other friend, so she feels isolated from everybody.

If it was me, I would have to say what is on my mind.. If she is a true friend she will understand..
