The amusement rides that are associated with New York/New York, Stratosphere, and other casinos *are* expensive. Not only that, the lines are long and ride is SHORT. Not the best experience for your money.

However, Circus Circus Hotel & Casino (on the strip) has an entire 5 acre theme park right inside! It's called The Adventuredome, and you can get an adult/all day pass for $24.95.

Here's the website for additional info:

Hope that helps! Enjoy your visit in Vegas!

The Manhattan Express at New York New York is worth every penny of it's $12.00 admission (I can't remember if that is before or after the discount coupon). The line wasn't that long, and the coaster is phenomenal.

The rides at the top of the Stratosphere are about $9 a piece, or you can do combinations and unlimited passes for more. They were too much for me, but a lot of people looked like they were having fun.

Just look though the discount coupon books you get at your hotel or in the cabs...You never pay full price!

The rides are expensive, but, not $30.

"DrDee" gave you the best value.

Info on all of the "rides" in Las Vegas
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/activities.cfm >Rides & or Theme parks< Though I would not call either "Gameworks" or "Star Trek" theme parks >Star Trek has a couple of rides a restaurant and a few souvenir shops, Gameworks is more of an arcade.

Click on the rides name for more info, then click on "the official web site" for even more.
