I don't care for it. Carly is nice (not crazy about the K spelling).

How about Carly/Karly Aileen if you're set on the 'ay' sound being in there somewhere?

I'm gonna be negative, too, but for a different reason.

I name that is TOO different is a real problem for a child when she is school age because kids and teachers will never spell it right or say it right. She'll go all through her life having to explain her name to everyone.

In a way, it's nice that you want a name for your child that is not just like everyone else's. but please come up with something less unusual.

There are so many beautiful girl names out there, but this one seems to be a stretch. Why not just Karly or Kaylee. You don't want your daughter to constantly be correcting the pronunciation or the spelling of her name. I have had to do it my whole life, and it is quite a pain!

I don't want to be negative, but I agree that it is a mouthful. It doesn't really sound like a name. And even with your pronouciation, I'm not exactly sure I'm saying it right...

The spelling you have is the only one I can think of where people will come close to saying it right...

Try the following spellings, they might make the pronunciation more evident:

Karliée
(with an accent on the first E. This will make the ay sound with fewer letters, and it looks cute and french!)

Karlieay

Karliay

I think the best idea is the accent.

Karliée Elizabeth or Karliée Rose

karlieay
karleay
karliay
karleeay

anything that will emphasize the ly sound, but your spelling is ok fine too. after you know how to say it, it's pretty. Even though it's different it's not off the wall like Cocoa or Apple or lemonjello. so don't worry about it being different.

It's too hard to pronounce. Doesn't roll off the tongue very easily. How about Carly?

no good.
you would have to take your girl to school with a manual for spelling and pronounciation.....
don't mean to be rude or anything. but your kid will have trouble from childhood untill she is grown up... spellling and spelling and explaining... what a bore don't you think?
Go with

KARLY HEY

CAR LAYLA

CARINA LEE

I hope this helps and always think about the future and what the name represents for the child in overall life quality.
Imagine kids picking and making fun all day long, and you won't be there to protect.

I prefer Carly, Karlyae sounds like you're mixing up two names to make a new one.
