im soo afraid to shave my armpits. i dont want to cut myself. kids at school make fun of me and call me an ape. what do i do?

get a safety razor (they have little wires around the blades so it's harder to cut yourself.) if you're still afraid of that, use nair or veet.

Well, my son (17) shaved his about a month ago. He did not cut himself, but he did get sores.....bumps from shaving. Then it burned for about 2 weeks. Once you do it, you have to keep doing it, until you can stand the itching that happens when your hair grows back in.

trim it if your being made fun of.... If your afraid of being made fun of for hairy arm pits wait till words spreads that you shave :P Just get scissors and trim them. Gets the job done without the crap after effects of shaving there.

Don't shave them! The hair will grow back thicker and longer. It doesn't really matter if you have a lot of hair, be proud of it tell them real men have hair. They are probably just jealous anyway. Besides, who cares what some stupid kids think anyway?

Don't shave, that won't help, they will pick on you over something else. Just point out that you need testosterone to grow pit hair and if they don't have enough, too bad.

just shave them.
just reach your hand straight up and use a razor to shave.
i've never cut myself in the arm pit ever.
so you should be fine.
and if you do cut yourself (which i doubt you will) you'll be fine.

well if your not to shy around your parents ask one of them. my mom helped me. i was a little scared to but its not as hard as u think ...try to go slowy and use umm shaving cream i think it works better than soap.
