My husband loves me i know this but he sucks at showing affection toward me...I miss the Hugs, kisses or just holding my hand. He calls me dear LOL I hate that word...I wanta hear sweetheart or baby ok now I am dreaming lol like that would ever happen

Show him the respect he desires. Be his cheerleader, sit with him in the garage while he fixes the car (don't talk) just sit (shoulder to shoulder time) Tell him what a great guy he is and that you think he's a great (bf, husband, father etc.) show intrest in his work. Come to him with problems and let him give you HIS ideas and tell him that they are good ones.( if married) make love to him it connects you to eachother and meets his need of closeness to you). It's simply this men desire respect like women desire love. Once his need of respect is met he will feel more free to show affection towards you. Does that theory sound a little crazy to you? well think about it when he does something nice for you doesn't it make you want to do something nice for him? The answer is YES of course!!

well start hugging him more !!!! those things kind of grow by themselved if you know what I mean.
so every morning kiss him and say how much you love him, how great he looks, get him a nice t-shirt and tell him this is for my sexy baby... little things like that.
when you watch TV hold his hand and play with his fingers, tell him during commercials how much you love his hands, the fell of his hands in yours....
seduce him all the time and make nice comments on his persona....
before he comes home, be always well dressed and pretty for him...
when you make love. tell him in the intimate ways how you want him and how much it turns you on that he calls you.... whatever you want to be called....

If the photo is yours you look immensely huggable to me. But I'm afraid that it is very difficult to change men's habits and attitudes. I'm sure he loves you in his own way but just doesn't think it necessary to make a show of it now that he has you safely by his side. All you can do is tell him that you would appreciate a little more tangible appreciation, but if he replies "That's all right dear, can't you see I'm watching TV".. hmm...

You start giving him even more affection that you usually do and see if he reciprocates. If not then sit and talk with him about it but try not to accuse him, just keep things light such as, "I miss our hugs and kisses" Good luck!

here's what you say to him "my love language is touch, that means i feel loved when you hug me kiss me hold my hand, play with my hair, etc." and ask him to please make an effort to do some of those every day because you realize it doesn't come natural for him. and ask him what makes him feel loved. is it spending quality time together, keeping the house neat, telling him what a great job he is doing as the breadwinner...? and whatever his love language is, try making an effort for him as well.

He isn't that type of a guy, didn't you know that when you married him or were you expecting him to turn into the man you WANTED to be married to after the honeymoon? It doesn't work that way. If you were willing to accept him as he was on your wedding day why can't you accept the same man now?
