I just read a report that the Taliban have hanged a fifteen year-old boy in Helmad, Afghanistan. They found the teenager guilty of spying for the NATO forces. What makes me furious is why do we still have to deal with the SOB taliban and terrorists in that region? And it is a shame not only for the US, but for all the world that they would let something like this and the voilent things in Darfur happen. SHAME ON THEM. All these so called leaders think about is money and that is why they have occupied Iraq and Afghanistan and all the other poor countries. IF YOU CAN'T TAKE CAR OF SOMETHING, THEN DON'T TAKE OVER IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. To let this happen in a country where NATO forces are in place is just embarrasing and ridiculous. And don't look for this on YAHOO NEWS, they don't want to report on these sort of things. WHAT A SHAME. I am gonna join the US Airforce and bomb the hell out of the taliban. HERE WE GO.

This is what we are fighting to stop. The Taliban madness. The teen ager was probably just an innocent child and they had a blood lust to quench. I applaud your choice and support you. However, the murdering will go on until we win and that might be some time. It's hard eradicating evil. And it's just as hard to punish those who take the law into their own hands and not use the proper channels, but there are laws set up in war. Be careful that your anger doesn't get the best of you and let you do something that would be considered breaking the laws of war.

I think you need to develop a slightly more responsible philosophy of action. While I sympathise with your outrage at the actions of the Taliban, just because something evil happens (unfortunately) does not mean that you can avert it, or that seeming to take action against the perpetrators would avoid something worse happening in the future. Didn't Iraq teach you anything about the limited capacity of the US to prevent evil by military action?

If I were you, I'd join a group committed to international human rights, not to bombing the hell out of Afghani civilians. That is unlikely to solve anything.

It says they found the teenager guilty of spying for the NATO forces. That must be the punishment for that crime. We can't change laws too. War is hell.

The Air Force does have some stringent requirements. Good luck.

None of the "drive by" media will report this-
the mainstream press in this country wants us to "make nice" with terrorists, even those who cut off heads of our people. Soon, the evil ones would be marching down Main Street, USA and telling us to bow and face east towards Mecca. If (God forbid) that happens, who will be left to tell us why we let it happen???
