I am neither, I do not have to prove myself, or lose myself, I am my own Person, and can do what I want to do if I want too. I do not think it is Healthy which ever you choose.

There are times when both are necessary, you don't have to do one or the other. In work, school, clubs, sports you need to "prove yourself" show others you are a valuable and capable player in whatever you are doing. Lose yourself is to let go of all the stress and troubles you are having and lose yourself into a happier place. This is necessary to do sometimes . . . Both are healthy at times but you need to do a little bit of both to have a full filling life!

I don't know Rena. I think we have more choices that those 2. How about finding yourself and just "being" yourself. Not doing anything, like proving to others, or losing focus of self. Just existing at peace with oneself.
I guess, for me that's the healthiest state of all. It's not euphoria by any means, it's a state of neutrality and peace. For me, that's what I seek.

I actually seek truth. if i prove myself wrong, great. the thing about confronting real truth is that you can prove yourself with it, but you can also lose ideas that are important to you. I see both, however hard ,as growing in life. If you are not willing to lose a bit of yourself to truth, you are a coward. If you are always trying to prove yourself, you are an insecure egoist. I don't think either one is healthy by itself, but together they allow us to grow as people.

Think about the meaning of the words you are using. I think losing myself is something I have never considered. Proving to myself that I am capable and accomplishing what I set out to is most important to me. If I struggle, I simply keep working until I realise a shorter-term goal that will still lead me in the original right direction. Like with my inventions, some of them are so grand that a great resource will be needed to create them, so I am currently working on simpler ideas that will get the ball rolling.

Hi Rena:
The healthy one is seeking to prove oneself. This i believe is a positive action rather choosing the negative one. Proving oneself to be is just aiming your goals in life. If you want to prove something on yourself then you should prove it all along that you could make it and see for yourself that it could be done. A postive attitude draws you energy to keep going in life to reach your target goal. This i think must be the right attitude in life.
Have a great day!

all of it comes all the way down to the ambience i'm in: no remember if it is artwork, the place I only began a splash over a month in the past and that i think no longer so good as all of us, or in college, which happens to be between the authentic universities interior the U. S., the place i think privileged and grateful to have been given the style of great danger and sense like i'm on the same point with all of the scholars. so a ways as wealth comes, there is actual some artwork to be finished in that area, yet no longer something to rigidity for now. i desire I responded your question.

I think growing up you can dive into either without seeing the folly of both. Both are healthy enough providing its for the right reason and you have the choice to do it or not.

neither, I have done all the proving I need to mostly to my family, I have been lost and now I am not. I think it can be both heathy and not so healthy depending how you go about doing it.
