How do I make my website show up on Google?

Pretty hard to answer that when you don't say what you have tried.
Also it would help if you post your URL so that we could have a look at your site's code, tags etc.
Generally speaking, you need an interesting site with unique content and links from other already indexed and similar sites.
SEO, promotion and traffic are the answers.

Google spiders sites all the time, as long as you have your main index file up google will pick up your site. I may take a few days, but you should see it show up in the google index within a day or two.

You can use google.com/addurl but you really dont need to do that if you dont wish.

Sounds to me like your main index file is not showing?? check it and see if it is active then try again.

It takes time for search engines to index a site - the more popular it is, the quicker it'll show up.

it will usually take about a month after you submit it for it to show up. but after it does show up it will be a long way down. to get at the top of the page you have to have lots of important/popular websites link to you.
