but it is kinda hard to get around, and get your point across. And it makes me wonder what other people are saying to my face. For all I know it could have been, "hey you stupid american. I hate those shoes".

I've been to Mexico and I don't know Spanish, but everyone I talked to knew at least broken English. So no I didn't get frustrated.

Yes, I was in Mexico and when they spoke to me in Spanish I kept trying to answer them in French and they looked at me funny. -I'm from Canada.
