Are you khidding? Or should I say k'idding?

Is HunnyMommy really naming her kid after JAIL?

Depends. If you simply mean Caden (said KAYD-en), it's a very common choice, but a great name otherwise. Kay'den, however, looks really contrived, and would not actually be said the same as Caden. The added punctuation would indicate a pause and different stress, so it would be more along the lines of kay-DEN. Just sounds off, to be honest.

And I can't say I'm familiar with Khaleer, though it's similar to some Arabic names (but then I'd assume it would then be Khalir), but if that's not what you're going for, you might consider the similar Collier.

Hope that helps.

They're horrid. Kay'den is just a ghetto bastardization of Caden which is a bastardization of Aidan. Khaleer is just made up.

I like Kay'den, but don't think it should be spelled with the apostrophe. That looks ghetto there.

For a human child?

A world of no.

Aiden is classic. Jaden and Braden are not my style, but white hot popular so, hey, what do I know? Caden/Kaden is going a bit farther, and IMHO, too far. But tossing random punctuation into the name? No, no, no.

Khaleer just puzzles me. It sounds made up, and when I google it, the results don't indicated it is a given name. If it is a family name or honors an interest of yours, tuck it in the middle. But Khaleer? No.

I personally like 'different' names. Of course with being a mom we tend to always keep in mind how the name we are giving them will fit for the rest of their lives, but nothing wrong with being a bit different... i mean name's such as Gary, Mike, Tom are lame and boring for new babies... My son is 4 years old, and his name is Kaden, its coming to be a much more common name. We get alot of compliments on his name... so all in all, I say go for it, as long as the spelling isnt too 'out there'

Yikes, neither, especially a name with an apostrophe in it. In Hawaii, Kay den, is slang for okay then. LOL

You also dont want your kid having to spell their name a million times throughout life

I like Kayden better. Khaleer might cause too many problems, like getting made fun of in school. Just think of all the things it could ryhme with. But its your choice. Congrats!
