A skier is accelerating down a 30 degree hill at 3.80 m/s^2. What is the vertical component of her acceleration? How long will it take her to reach the bottom off the hill, assuming she starts from rest and accelerates uniformly, if the elevation change is 335 m. Please show/explain work clearly.

The vertical component is
3.80*sin(30)

or
1.9

the distance traveled in the vertical is
335
which is equal to
.5*1.9*t^2
so
t=sqrt(2*335/1.9)
