How come most of the time daughters don't have a good relationship with their dads (even if you do, what do you think)...Like sons can have good relationship with MOM and DAD but most girls don't have a GOOD relationship with thier dad...
Is it because DADS worry too much..and then just let it go...IDK..GIVE me your OPINIONS..

I have an amazing relationship with my father. We are very close but I'm not a complete girlie girl so that helps. we both love harley davidsons and camping, I can rough it out like a guy and not cry when I break a fingernail.
Plus I love rum- I definitely got that from my dad. Don't get me wrong through my teenage years there were moments he got told some pretty hurtful things but now I have my own apartment, a straight A student in college and he's really proud of me. I've proved that he raised me right even though he had really doubted that during my teenage years, he always thought the worse but I wasn't doing bad stuff.
some dads just don't know how to deal with daughters once they get into the teen years because lets admit it- we're not the nicest as teens.
if you don't have a good relationship it's never to late to try to fix it.
Ask your dad to take you to the mall, or go to mini golf, a hockey game, a car ride, whatever. Anything to just hang out. Your dad will love that you want to spend time together and eventually you'll look back on those times and think "I love my dad, he's really cool". No one thinks their dad is cool as a teen, but when you don't get to see your dad every day you start to wish you had spent more time together. I am across the country and I see my dad once or so a year but we talk almost every day online or the phone but I wish I had spent more time with him....but I'm planning stuff with him for after I graduate college and stuff....but even as a teen I did a lot with him.

Dads do worry too much, but that is just a fact of life. I am very close with my father, although that has not always been the case. We have had our share of ups and downs, but no matter what, he is my rock. I asked him how he could forgive me for all of the bad things that I have done, he laughed and told me that a parents love is unconditional. I honestly believe I have the worlds greatest dad.

I have a wonderful relationship with my Dad. We are very close. But as far as girls who dont...I'm not sure, cuz everyone is different. I have a friend whose dad is extremely strict, won't let his daughters wear makeup, wear jeans, or do ANYTHING, and so that causes them to rebel, which makes them not have a good relationship with him. I think that you need to have a happy medium in everything. You can't be too fanatic.

I don't think I have a good relationship with my Dad. I always feel as if I've let him down or that I'm going to. We've talked about it before, but I feel as if my admitting to him that I think I'm a disappointment is just more disappointment for him.
